You could say I've been driving for a while!
I started competing in 1985 with my first Championship success in the Scottish Borders Road Rally Championship winning Novice driver in 1986.
Forty years later, I'm still at it. In 2026 I'm defending both my Javelin Sprint Series and Toyota Sprint Series titles after winning both championships in 2025. To add another championship this season would be something truly special.
Over the years I've been fortunate to compete in many different forms of motorsport, including tarmac rallying, production car trials, autotests, drag racing, hill climbs, sprinting and time attack.
But since discovering sprinting in 2007, it's become my favourite discipline. There's something addictive about the challenge of finding those last few tenths against the clock and chasing that perfect run!
